Praise the Lord!  God has provided the means to open a food pantry and partner with another food bank ministry in serving the needs of our region!  While our emphasis is serving our local neighbors, finances and food supplies are needed to help fund our outreach efforts.

Over and over again, God has proven himself to be “faithful”

We encourage people who are under stress and lack adequate provisions to visit us on Saturdays between the hours of 10 to 12:30 at “Union Station”, located at 352 East Ayer Street, Ironwood, Michigan.

We extend a “Thank You” to all the customers, suppliers, friends and patrons besides all the hours the volunteers have contributed.  Numerous businesses and individuals, Who have given freely of their surplus to make this Ministry a success!  God knows who you are and will one day reward you openly.  For our treasures are not here on earth but with our Saviour, the Lord Jesus!

About

We continue to improve our operations by obtaining more shelving, refrigeration, storage capacity for what we feel will be an economic storm on the horizon.  We have allowed the Lord to lead in building this storehouse for what is to come.  We appreciate all those who have been a part of this Ministry for the past eight years.  From our humble beginnings to now, you can just see God’s hand upon us. As volunteers, we give freely of ourselves as Christ has done for us.  He is not a respecter of persons but loves each and everyone.

How big and how far will be our outreach?  Only God knows.  Only He can see what is ahead.  He is looking for obedient people to pray, love and serve one another.  There are many facets to ministry that God is calling His Bride back to.  Are you listening?  Are you allowing yourself to serve?  We are looking for people, who have a desire to serve and provide for the needs of our region.  We are being prepared to serve spiritual and natural needs.  Please seek God’s leading for your life and find your position as you are needed as the hour approaches.

The outpouring of support and love from the community and outsiders have been tremendous!  We appreciate each and every one of you!  We would not be where we are today without you!

Please prayerfully ask the Lord if you or your business or church should partner with us.  It will take unity of hearts and efforts to assist in the greater hours which are approaching quickly.  Lets be wise as the six virgins prepared for the husbands coming, not assuming there is time to spare.

“Union Station”, located at 352 East Ayer Street, Ironwood, Michigan. The food pantry is open between the hours of 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturdays.  As demand dictates, additional hours will be offered.

The food pantry has received FEMA grant funding besides United Way monies to assist in providing necessary food items to those who are in need. To prevent abuse, we encourage individuals to complete an application in documenting their need.  While many we serve are the elderly on fixed incomes, we do extend assistance to families and individuals upon request.  We continually receive applications for assistance, while we are still limited to the number of people served due to lack of good nutritious food supplies and our ability to afford.  Most of the food we handle are purchased at deep discounts or are given freely due to their limited shelf life.

Our mailing address is 1445 East Cloverland Drive, Ironwood, MI 49938, Phone (906) 364-3582. We do not receive mail at our physical distribution site due to our limited hours!
